Meet Our Team

Our team at Cryo and Sports Recovery is composed of licensed and experienced healthcare professionals such as athletic trainers and physical therapy specialists. Not only are we efficient at what we do but we are also educated on how to treat specific impairments and how to educate others on avoiding further injury. Meet our team below

Tori Hummer: Tori is a licensed and certified athletic trainer originally from Fort Worth, Texas. After high school Tori headed east to obtain a bachelors in athletic training and a masters in biomechanics from Texas A&M University - Commerce, and later a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification. Tori has worked all fields of athletic training (high school, collegiate, industrial, semi-pro and clinical) but has enjoyed working for Dr. Arora the most. In her spare time, Tori is usually reading, hiking, or hanging out with her Catahoula, Pippin. Tori is excited to be a part of the team at CSR and helping everyone recover back to their best selves.

Nicole Waletzki: Nicole is a Certified Athletic Trainer and has been living in Texas for the past two years. During this time she has enjoyed working for Arora Family Chiropractic and PT Concepts of Frisco.  Originally from Leesburg, VA, Nicole earned her BA in Athletic Training from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS. She has enjoyed working in different athletic training settings including collegiate, industrial, and clinical. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys training for and running marathons with her dad. Knowing how important a proper recovery is to your performance, Nicole is excited to be on board with the CSR team and serve our community.

Cory Penfold: Cory is from Garland, Texas where he played basketball and football at Garland HS. Cory earned his degree in Athletic Training from Hardin-Simmons University and spent time with the Dallas Cowboys as a Sports Medicine Intern.

Cory has experience working athletes at every level from youth up to collegiate and professional. He is passionate about keeping athletes healthy and empowering them to chase their dreams. "Sports Recovery is a game changer. The research is clear that stretching simply isn't enough to play at a high level and stay there. Our goal is to provide world class care and tools that help to optimize recovery and jump ahead of injuries before they occur."

Cassidy Boyd: Cassidy Boyd is from Topeka, KS where she grew up playing all sports but was most passionate about basketball (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!). She continued her education at The University of Kansas as well as Washburn University in Topeka, KS to achieve a Physical Therapist Assistant degree as well as a Bachelors in Health Administration.  Cassidy has been in TX for 3 years now and has enjoyed working at Arora Family Chiropractic (right next door to Cryotherapy and Sports Recovery, CSR) for all 3 years as a part of the physical therapy team. Cassidy believes that rest and proper sports recovery is essential for athletes to perform at their highest potential and she is excited to assist in helping this community feel their best at CSR.

Eric Nguyen: Eric is originally from Orange County, CA. Eric has been has been a physical therapist for 8 years and is the head physical therapist at PT Concepts (Allen, Frisco North, Frisco West, Plano West, and McKinney). Eric has worked with NFL athletes, UFC/MMA athletes, D1 athletes, and 3 to 5 star prospects. He has seen the importance of proper recovery to get people performing at their best. Eric also practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has felt first hand what a difference it makes for him to utilize proper recovery protocols so that he can get back on the mats pain-free. He hopes to bring the same tools and knowledge to the Cryo & Sports Recovery community to maximize their potential.
